Acorns K-2
A Strong Start (K-2) Foundational Skills for Lifelong learning
Acorns is our K–2 foundation program—warm, structured, and hands-on. With short lessons, daily practice, and guided support, students build strong skills in phonics, math, science inquiry, and social-emotional growth. It’s designed to smoothly prepare children for the independence and project-based learning of grades 3–5.
The Mighty Oaks Upper Elementary (3-5)
Project based learning
The Live Oak School's Upper Elementary (Grades 3–5) is designed for growing independence and deeper thinking through project-based learning. Students strengthen reading comprehension, writing, math reasoning, and science/humanities understanding by applying skills to real-world questions, research, and creative projects. With clear routines, guided instruction, and increasing student ownership, learners build collaboration, problem-solving, and presentation skills—so they’re not just learning content, they’re learning how to think, create, and communicate with confidence.
